Hi! We're Brooke and Luke. We recently settled in the Kansas City area after spending two months on the road where we free camped and stayed with friends. When we're not out on a weekend camp trip with our pups, you can find us trying new restaurants, playing board games, hosting dinner parties or doing art projects. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We recently bought a house and would love to extend our space to fellow travelers. Luke traveled for awhile and met a great community through this site and now we want to give back, and give that same opportunity to others on a grand life adventure or a weekend outing.

As a surfer: We love to travel and love community, so this is a great way to do both. We want to see places through the eyes of the people that live there, not what TripAdvisor [or similar sites] tell us we should do.

Music, Movies, and Books

Brooke: I'm not a huge reader. If I do read I like "self-help" books about finding fulfilling lives, people's journey to happiness and other encouraging things. But, I do like audiobooks and podcasts so recommend away!
I love comedy and drama movies, but I'll watch most movies as long as it isn't horror ha. I get nightmares.
Folk, alternative rock, indie, electronic etc...that's my jam.

Luke: I love sci-fi books...specifically Robert Heinlein, but I'll explore different types of books. I love reading.
Bring on all the movies and new music ! I'm pretty open-minded with music and movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We drove 10,000 miles in two months on our road trip in the summer of 2017. It was a great experience and someday we might be fulltime adventurers.

Teach: graphic design, wordpress, games, campfire cooking, trailblazing

Share: space, laughter, community and dog snuggles

What I Can Share with Hosts
