About Me
Hello!
I am a passionate conservationist working in the areas of entomology, environmental justice, primatology, and anthropology. I enjoy the outdoors- especially when I can hike with my pup! I am interested in communal living, yoga and meditation, healthy eatin' and making new friends from around the globe! I have traveled to Canada, Mexico (where I volunteer for a spider monkey sanctuary), Costa Rica (where I lived in the jungle for three months with capuchin monkeys), and Paraguay where I was a volunteer ecologist. I am now working with an Indian Nation in Louisiana helping them receive Federal Recognition. I volunteer for a few organizations including Community Kitchen and Books 2 Prisoners and hope to get my hands dirty in many endeavors while traveling. I love making connections with people and listening to the stories they have to tell.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am traveling a bit in the United States while I have a break between jobs- visiting my sister and hoping to see a part of the country I've never seen before.
