About Me
I'm a bright, bubbly, fun loving individual! I love everything silly. Life is too short not to laugh :)
I've had a lust for travel as long as I can remember... When I was very young, my parents took my sisters and I traveling across the east side of Canada. The strongest memory I have of that trip is when we got locked out of our car. It was in Quebec City, pitch black, and we were sitting in a McDonalds parking lot. I remember so many people just walking by, until this one group of somewhat scary looking gentleman stopped and asked us what happened. THANK GOODNESS one of them spoke English! Well they apparently went around saving travellers who get locked out of their cars all the time --at least that's what I chose to believe-- because they had a tool thinger magig that unlocked our doors within seconds! I remember being so terrified of them when they first walked up, yet they were by far, the raddest group of guys we met on the trip. That's when I truly learned kindness comes in all shapes and sizes. As cliche as that sounds... That moment founded a lot of my morals :)
And that's how I fell in love with travel!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find it the best way to meet the community, and see how others live. My favourite aspect of life is when two people can broaden each other’s minds and add to each other’s perspectives.
Interests
I guess you could call me a sampler...
I love bits and pieces of everything but not too much of anything kind of deal.
I love learning new things. Anything that involves adventure/change is right up my ally!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love books but of the fantasy variety usually...
Though my favourite book, at the moment, would have to be The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Favourite movies of all time !!
1. Warrior
- Big fan of Tom Hardy.
2. Lord of the rings
- named my rabbit after Sam-wise-the-brave!
3. Band of brothers
- Tv show but still an honourable mention.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think what I'm doing right now is pretty amazing...
I’m currently on a holiday visa, touring and working around Ireland 🇮🇪. I’ve just finished two years doing the same in Australia. My goal is to travel and see as much of Europe as I can within the next two years.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m learning guitar at the moment, so most of my days are preoccupied with hours strumming. I can teach basics but am still learning the advanced nicks and tricks myself...
I’m interested in photography. The manual settings have proven to be quite daunting though, so my camera tends to collect dust in the corner of my room begging to be used.
I can teach you how to make a mean mushroom sauce 😎
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope a new point of view... What more can we ask of people?
I have a very simplistic, nomadic lifestyle. Lots of stories to share and if you'll let me, I can provide you with a great laugh as you watch me attempt to cook a meal! 😂
For sake of being straight forward, I'm not interested in hook ups, just meeting like minded people and hopefully gaining new friendships along the way :)
