Hello! My name is Brooke Knudtson and I l just graduated with my Bachelors in Arts in Political Science at The University of Texas at Dallas. I was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and have a pretty great accent. I love to be busy and prioritize my time in a way where I can accomplish all my goals. I have been involved in many organizations on my campus: Cheerleading, Model United Nations, Student Government, Kappa Alpha Theta, First Year Leaders, and Fraternal Governmental Relations Coalition. I am a diligent worker and love to help others. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Public Affairs and hope to join the Peace Corps when I graduate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While traveling I would love to meet the locals and just experience the world. I believe couch surfing is a great way to meet new people while also exploring the world.

Interests

I love to travel even though I haven't been out of the country besides London, England and the Bahamas. I really enjoy riding bikes, watching movies, and eating FOOD!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music minus hard metal. I am currently obsessed with watching the American Film Institute top 10 movies in the Epic category. I also love anything done by the BBC! Books that I enjoy either involve true stories regarding the criminal justice system or romance novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While serving as President of Student Government, I was able to pass resolutions and student led initiatives that impacted the entire university. Dealing with millions of dollars, I was able to allocate budgets for certain organizations to help their missions.
