I have been living in Washington, DC for 15 years, working in Affordable Housing. I'm an avid world traveler. However, I've been unable to travel for the last 2 years as my mom was battling cancer (she's better now!), and I was working like a slave at a start-up company. As fate would have it, I was let go unexpectedly on the same day I paid off all my student loans. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and I decided to listen to the message that the Universe was sending me. I'm in the process of wrapping up all of my loose ends, putting all of my belongings into storage, and plotting the next 6 months of world travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had many roommates over the years that have hosted Couch-surfers from all over the world and I'm well-acquainted with the community. I've met many wonderful people from all over the world. I'm planning to couch-surf during my trip because it's a wonderful way to maximize this once-in a lifetime adventure, by meeting amazing people and having the opportunity to truly immerse myself in local culture wherever I go. I look forward to meeting you!
