ABOUT ME

I am 20 years old and a student at UC Berkeley where I am majoring in Geography. I love to learn, read, run, dance, laugh, draw, sing, act....in all to live. I have lived last year abroad in Potsdam, Germany and always enjoy meeting people from other places and cultures. I am especially interested at this time in learning about sustainable living and the ways in which different cultures address and are effected by environmental challenges and technologies.

PHILOSOPHY

Act in a way that is respectable not only by what standards I think others hold, but by those I myself hold. Only then can I be happy with the life I lead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm using this site now mainly for travel purposes, to visit places afordably and to meet people who really know and will represent their homes. I have hosted several times at my mother's home in Eureka, but probably won't be able to do that again until next summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used Couch Surfing to travel around Denmark and Sweden. My mother has also hosted several times the year I was abroad. We both agree it is a wonderful way to meet interesting people and share cultures.
