About Me

Love and kindness always, love and kindness first.

I'm a lover of life, I'd like to think my mind is a bit eccentric. Easy going, open minded, and like to keep the energy positive :) I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I like to be outside, in the sunshine and mountains and lakes! Never miss the chance for a good laugh or a unique experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make memories, to meet wonderful people, and to keep moving always, so that we can all make our way around this beautiful world and while doing so, we can share what we have with others and make friends that we will have for the rest of our lives. To change the world. It provides a more mindful experience with the people and culture you are discovering, you dig deeper.

**I can't accept guests at my home in Idaho because of my living situation but eventually I will be able to host you!**

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC:
I generally love any and all music besides the metal. I'm a fan of folky music. Fiddle strings and raspy voices. So much good music I might go a little wild here! Some of the favorites are Houndmouth, Ben Howard, Local Natives, Bon Iver, City and Colour, Gregory Alan Isakov, Nahko Bear and the Medicine for People, Alt-J, Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Johnny Flynn, Willy Mason, Josh Garrels, The Head and The Heart, Tracy Chapman, Lord Huron, Mumford & Sons, Milky Chance, Ben Sollee, London Grammar, Aesop Rock, Alabama Shakes, The Doors, Cage the Elephant, GRiZ, The Floozies, Grizzly Bear, Matthew and the Atlas, Bumpin Uglies, Sublime, Biddidat, Beirut, SOJA, Fleet Foxes, Jimi Hendrix, Arctic Monkeys, Jack Johnson, James Vincent McMorrow, Glass Animals, ODESZA, Twenty One Pilots, etc.

MOVIES:
Favorite movie of all time; Alice in Wonderland!
I try not to watch movies all that often but I do enjoy The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Inception, Silence of the Lambs, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Blow, Gran Torino, etc. Of course all of the comedy and classic disney movies too!

BOOKS:
I love books!
Jack Kerouac, On The Road and The Dharma Bums.
Tom Robbins, Jitterbug Perfume and Skinny Legs and All.
Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist and Warrior of The Light.
Charles Bukowski, Tales of Ordinary Madness and Women.

Other books I like, Notes of a Dirty Old Man, Into the Wild, Brida, The Happiness Project, A Lazy Mans Guide to Enlightenment, Rumi's Book of Love, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I kissed a Sea Lion once, right on the snout.
And once upon a time, I won a trip for a cruise in the Bahamas...from a fry box at a fast food restaurant! Dreams do come true! Haha

I've done a lot of amazing things and have been very blessed to do so. Many of them are small moments that have made an impact on my life though I may not have noticed at the time. I realize now more than ever, that the small things truly matter and we are involved in miracles every day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to dive into new cultures, explore the world, discover! I'm always ready to learn something new or give it a try.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of laughs, stories, and quotes! I'd like to be able to share our points of view, ideas, and experiences. Enjoy some conversations that are not solely transactional, but transformational too. I want to get to know people as raw and authentic as they are, make new friends and connections that last a lifetime!
