ABOUT ME

I'm a mid-western transplant living near the Rocky Mountains. I moved to Colorado for the skiing and school and I will never get tired of the beauty here.

When I am not doing the grad-student thing (reading, playing with data, or talking about interesting ideas with interesting people over a beer), I like to enjoy the beautiful state that I am in.

I was raised on beer, brats, and cheese but I also enjoy good food and drink. My ma and pa taught me that a meal was about enjoying the ones you share it with. So let's eat and learn a thing or two about each other? And maybe roam around in the great outdoors?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spelunking in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and then running into a platypus. Or zip lining over the canopy of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, Costa Rica. Both experiences induced the sore-abs, tired-cheeks, giddy hysterics I remember from childhood.
