About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be happy healthy and wise ;)

ABOUT ME

Well I really love to travel and to experience new people and cultures. There really is not one place in the world that I would not want to visit. I like experiencing new things that I've never done before.
I'm open to anything that is new to me, likeable, crazy, interesting, stupid, no matter what :)
I was born-and-raised in San Francisco, California, spent a year in Germany at 18 as an exvhange student after graduating High School i the US and then moved to San Diego, California to attend college (and stayed for 12 years!)

PHILOSOPHY

As morbid as it sounds, life is short and you never know how long you'll be healthy and able to do the things you love to do (and/or have the people around with whom you want to do them with. So I really believe it's important not to sweat the small stuff. Also, as cliched as it sounds "you can't take it with you"...meaning I think money should be spent on experiences, not on cars and clothes (although I love that stuff as much as anyone else!). Of course that doesn't mean you shouldn't save for retirement but...you know :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently moved to Germany and have used meetup.com and Facebook groups to meet people. One of my friends is a passionate couchsurfer and told me it was a great way to meet people/make friends. So here I am in the CS-community :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty new here and ready to do this!

Interests

Obviously, I'm obsessed with travelling :) but I also enjoy being outside and being active (I <3 Pilates! cycling, snowboarding, yoga, hiking, etc.) I enjoy going to restaurants and bars with friends. I'm definitely a beach girl and could spend hours there swimming, reading, and relaxing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Greece. Thailand. Ankor Wat. Macchu Pichu. I trained 3 months to run a half marathon on the Las Vegas strip. I never thought I'd be able to accomplish such a thing (I am NOT a runner!) And on top of that I was fundraising for the Chrons and Colitis Foundation of America and it was amazing to see how many of my friends and family supported and believed in me. Thanks to them I raised $3000 for the charity.
