Hi! I will be an expat in Spain starting in September. I love to read, write poems, hike, rock climb, practice yoga, and spend quality time with friends. I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world. I am a hopeless romantic and can see the love and magic in many places I go. I value those connections with other humans and I love getting to share experiences with others you may have never met unless you took the chance and left the comfort of your home. I care deeply about other people and consider myself an empath, which helps in my career as a social worker. My end goal is to be a therapist-- utilizing mindfulness, yoga, and holistic living into my practice. I'm hoping to meet amazing people along this journey.

I want a more authentic experience when I visit new places. I love to have real conversations with locals or people from around the world about topics that really matter. That can be difficult to do from the typical hotel stay experience.

I have a big heart and a love for all things. I'm open minded and understanding. I used to work with refugees but my current job, before I leave for Spain, involves working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. My family and friends make up a huge part of who I am as a person and I am always looking to expand my family unit with new people in my life.

A few of my favorite things-- a good book, a big glass of wine, a stroll downtown, making a large meal and sharing it with family and friends, and learning about new cultures.

I love all types of music-- from jazz to rock to Hozier and everything in between. I love HBO shows-- Westworld and Game of Thrones are my favorite. There's so many good movies out there! It's hard to pick a favorite. That goes for books as well. I just read Call Me By Your Name and it was excellent. I'm now reading Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed.
