I was born and grew up in sunny Perth in Australia. I left for four years to travel and find (as it turns out create) myself. After years of rambling I returned home to Australia and am enjoying life, laughing and travelling every spare minute I have.

My philosophy in life is definitely a work in progress. I aim to live a life I'm proud of. I try to learn as much from every person I meet. The whole idea of life mostly seems very surreal to me. One part of me doesn't take life too seriously because I believe that no one has any idea what the hell is going on. The other part of me, though, takes life far too seriously because regardless of the above, having a moral conscience makes humans obligated to fix what we are destroying. This side of me is what led me to doing a degree majoring in Neuroscience. My fairy soul secretly wishes to search for the answer that will save us all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had some unbelievable couchsurfing experiences and have made wonderful friends, some of whom I've now known for over 6 years and no doubtedly believe they will be life-long friendships.

I definitely miss the world of being engrossed in travel however I have more studies and more things I wish to accomplish here at home. Couchsurfing is an invaluable way for me to meet new people with new and different perspectives and takes on life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really easy going with movies, music and books. I do have a very short attention span though so I need movies and books to really grip me. There is a special place in my heart for the movie Into The Wild (and subsequently the book) as watching it gave me the courage to go travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I followed my heart when I was 19 years old and left Australia to find what I thought what was missing in my life. I've continued to follow my heart in whatever direction it leads me and at 26, I'm very proud of myself that I took that first step.
