I'm originally from The USA but I'm currently an Au Pair in Netherlands for a year. I'm trying to see as much of Europe as I can before I go and I'm loving it so much! Before coming here, I was studying Deaf Studies at a University close to my house. I wanted to become an interpreter for the Deaf. I really enjoyed learning about the Deaf Culture throughout my studies and realized there is so much more to the world than the place I was living. Seeing how they are able to rise above the challenges they have been given in life has been amazing and it makes me want to become better myself.

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (lds.org) and it has made me more into the person I want to be. It is a huge part of my life

I love singing, reading, baking, and hiking. I also play the piano and ukulele and a little bit of violin. Music to me, is such a great way to express feelings from deep within your heart and share them with those around you.

It is wonderful to meet people and to get to know the intimate part of a culture. Seeing it first hand and learning from other people's experience is a great way to get to know the world. I love traveling, but when you're only in a place a certain amount of time, you don't really get to know what the place is all about. With CS, you are able to more accurately get to know the culture and the life around it.
