ABOUT ME

My first job out of University was an office job in NYC. After about a year I realized what I wanted to do most was travel. So I quit my job and went to Korea to teach English. During my time off I would pick a country I haven't been to before and go there. Now I'm back in New York and I'm trying to get into grad school and teach at the same time. It's not as fun as traveling but as soon as I get my masters I'm back to exploring new places!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in July 2009. I gotta stay it was a pretty cool experience. I stayed in Shanghai in a beautiful apartment right in the center. It was awesome! My host was great and the city was so much fun.

Interests

Enjoying life, meeting new people, going to the gym, cooking, reading, writing, kayaking, coffee, trying new foods, having good conversations, movies, knitting, making my own clothes (hopefully soon), people watching.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got my diving certification in the Philippines.
Traveled to China to see the Solar Eclipse.
Went to a deserted island in Korea unknown to most Koreans.
Traded in my bored desk job for a teaching job in Korea.
Traveled to Morocco to see my best friend.
Went to the Big Island and did every possible thing imaginable there.
