Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
continue my hedonist nature
ABOUT ME
I've finally come to the conclusion that I'm a hedonist. In addition, I refuse to live a life that society tells you to live. I suppose you could call me a nonconformist, which could explain why I quit my job last July to chill in Chicago and then ultimately to travel Europe for an extended period of time.
For now, I'm living back in my hometown and working at a foreclosure firm (go figure!) until I come up with a master plan. Background is in marketing, but I dislike it.
I'm easy going, outgoing, have a good sense of humor, sarcastic, considerate, and straightforward. While I can be serious, I also like to party. And as I've been told by many: I'm the best time.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't be an asshole.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: blues, rock, jazz, funk, soul, brass, rockabilly, folk, alt-country, zydeco, and world. Overall, I like most music, except for the crap pop and rap music played on the radio. Bad music is a tragedy.
Books: I like to read about politics, food, feminism, race, travel, media, and pop culture. Also enjoy fiction and historical novels. One of my favorite books is "Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole.
Movies: Prefer indie films and docs. It's highly unlikely I'll watch blockbuster films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting my job to travel. Best decision I've ever made.
