About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See as much of the world as I can while Im young!
ABOUT ME
I am a college student, studying abroad for the year in France. I love learning about different cultures, studying languages and meeting people from all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Well one belief I live by is that everything on earth has a right to be happy and live their lives in peace, that goes for people as well as animals. I am vegetarian and an animal lover.
I live by the philosophy that if I have learned something new today, it was a good day. I also strive to be surrounded by positivity and optimism because life is too short to waste a day being pessimistic!
I havent made up my mind yet about my ideas on fate...the idea intrigues me but Im not sure whether to belive it or not.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in November 2008, and it was the best weekend I have had in France since! The hosts were so nice and welcoming, they made me love the city I visited that much more. Since my first couchsurfing experience, I am eager to meet more people through couchsurfing and hopefully host my first couchsurfer when I get back to California.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In my travels so far I've seen some amazing things, the Grand Canyon is definitely one of my favorites as well as the Dune of Pyla. These two natural wonders make you feel quite insignificant compared to their grand scales, but they also make you think about how the smallest changes over time can make profound differences on the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love inspirational and thought provoking quotes. Here are just a few that I have learned so much from:
"No one can make you feel inferior with your consent"
Eleanor Roosevelt
"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!
-Emerson
"Happiness is not the absence of sadness"
And my favorite quote about true friendship:
"When the rain is blowing in your face, and the whole world is on your case, I can offer you a warm embrace, to make you feel my love"
-Bob Dylan
