PHILOSOPHY
No rest is as good as the one that comes after an endeavor. No accomplishment is as satisfying as one that contained doubt. And no courage is as great as one that included fear.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Grooveshark.com - Helping start music streaming site Grooveshark.com was probably one of my most rewarding experiences I've had to date. The knowledge I picked up, the travels I took part in and the people I met were foundational to my career, opinions, interests and my outlook on life. Everyone has a chance to change the world through a startup, but not nearly enough actually do.
2. Driving California's Highway 1 from San Francisco to Los Angeles - Making this trip with my close friend and fellow couchsurfer Greg DeLeo was a defining moment in my "travel" life. It was on this trip I learned to accept the invitations of others and the value of getting outside your comfort zone to know and experience the world as the locals do. The drive down Highway 1 was icing on the cake.
3. Receiving my Scuba Diving Certification - This was one of the first times in my young adult life I took the time to do something simply because it would improve my ability to have fun as opposed to helping my career. Scuba Diving is definitely something I'd like to do more of in the future as I travel.
4. Buying & Riding My First Motorcycle - Motorcycles aren't exactly the type of thing your friends and family are going to get excited about when you tell them you are going to buy one. They're too fast, offer no protection and are just flat out dangerous. But the only way I know to describe it is like this: Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.
