About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting ready for studying. Time to start so called real life
ABOUT ME
There we are, probably the worst part of couchsurfing: describing yourself...that's why my girlfriend will write this part.
It's not a really objective description, but for me he's like the role model of CS. He is interested in everything and it's so easy to have conversations about life, travelling, soccer, people and so on with him. Julius is always open to have a drink or two with you and just talk about all the things he and you have done. He is very motivated to go out and see the world, if he wants to climb up a big mountain he will do it and he will force you to do it, because he know it's going to be worth the view and effort. Julius will always be happy to show you his hometown and see your hometown and country and you will not believe it, but he is always in good mood!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't worry, be happy, don't care about things you can't change
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I just started the whole couchsurfing thing during my travels i never had the chance to host people. It was such a joy to be "part time" host while I was staying in Auckland and I'm looking forward to do some proper hosting back in my town
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
What can I say? Couchsurfing = best idea ever. It's not just about getting a couch, it's so much more. Haven't surfed too often, but enjoyed every minute with the people I have met. You just never know who you meet and what happens next.
I guess one of the greatest things that happened thanks to couchsurfing was getting to know Noel, a host in Auckland, New Zealand. It started as couchsurfing and was the beginning of a great friendship. It was a family far away from home.
In 2014, he visited us in Germany and we did a motorcycle trip down to Gibraltar and explored a lot of southern europe
Interests
Meet people, playing funny games together, watching football, camping, motocycling, traveling, explore different food and cultures, movies, music, beeing outside, hiking, playing and winning card games, cycling, joking around, diving, drinking, fishing, hunting
Groundhopping! I have seen around 25 different football grounds in Germany and England and I love to go to away games.
I also love photography, especially while traveling
Music, Movies, and Books
Love to listen to any kind of music and really love to watch movies. There are so many good ones, here are some of my favs: Seven, Fight Club, The Beach, Heat, The usual suspects, LOTR, The Prestige, Memento, The Departed, The Intouchables, Dances with wolves
Music: Jack Johnson, Bob Dylan, The Fugees, Blur, Clueso, Amy Winehouse, Nancy Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz.
They are all great but fuck you...Oasis? Greatest Band of all times
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling around the world with my girlfriend and start couchsurfing. We've been to eight countries and saw so many places other people dream of, we saw paradise in Fiji, we did some of the best hikes in the world in New Zealand, we were in a casino in Las Vegas and listened to frank Sinatra in the city that never sleeps. We hiked down and up the Grand Canyon in a day and tore off the skin if a rabbit. We met so many great people on the road, a lot of them thanks to couchsurfing.
Doing the Motorcycling trip to Barcelona - the idea to do the trip on my motorcycle rather than by plane like my friends turned into reality and i had a great time. 7000kms in 14 days on the best roads in the world and the most beautiful scenery you get in Western Europe
