My name is Shane, I practice architecture by day, amateur bike building by night/weekend, also furniture design/building, painting, you name it.
As a result of the furniture building projects, I now have a couch. and it is quite comfortable. Hopefully I can make it available soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently completed construction of my couch. .laugh yes, I built my couch. It is quite nice to sleep on actually. I sometimes sleep on it instead of in my bed.

Currently, it isnt available, as I will be travelling next week, and will be gone for a couple weeks. Hopefully, if I make some decision on my home location, it will be available to other surfers in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS Virgin here.
So far, my experience is only second hand, as my friend Beth is the only person I know to have done this. She had an amazing time in the upper west coast thanks to this site. She also made some life friends in Denver. Hoping I can relate some good stories soon. This will be my first time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

two big solo trips. one was through Switzerland for only a week. I got into the Swiss Alps. beautiful.
The other was a month in Japan. I walked several major cities, and made it down to see the Jomon Sugi, a very very old tree on the island of Yakushima. It was mesmerizing.

im not sure how to answer this. I work n bikes, but i am not an expert. i work in architecture, but im still in training. and my furniture hobby is still jsut that. I can help people see I guess. Thats about what I learned so far.
