CURRENT MISSION

I've been complacent for far too long! I need adventure (and since I've been a student most of my life, I'm on a very limited budget) and I want to see the world! I want to meet more people, play with exotic animals & see the world's beautiful scenery!!

ABOUT ME

I'm an extrovert who loves to adventure. I love seeing new beautiful landscapes, studying discoveries at exhibitions or museums, andtrying new things; I'll try anything once. I work hard and play hard but at the end of the adventure, I sleep hard. That's why I'm doing this trip. I've been sleeping too much ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has their own obstacles and everyone's lives has the potential for suffering....Those moments when you're laughing so hard you can't breath or the beauty around you leaves you breathless: The key to life is to Make those moments happen as often as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Now that I've thought about it, I have plenty of experience with people (old friends or new ones I've met bartending) that I invite over to crash my house. I've made a lot of great friends that way, I've just never been an official host through this website yet. I plan to as soon as I get home!!

I've had a few different people host me now and they've been THE GREATEST people!! But you do have to be careful with whom you chose....talk to people, make sure you WANT to meet them before you do ;) heehee

Couple bad experiences of people who just don't show up and mask it with bad reviews... (I cannot seem to fix my response to the negative personal review I got to a jerk who left me stranded at Unions Metro Station, downtown Los Angeles for hours in winter without responding after requesting I arrive at night, then he decided to harass me weeks later and I can't seem to properly block him - and a negative host review due to a broken phone leaving me lost for hours downtown México city resulting in a pretty weird judgement and change of attitude... But the rest of my experiences have been unbelievably, heart-warmingly fantastic!)

Interests

Anything and Everything. I love new adventures. I spend most of my time at the bar where I work, socializing but I also love to vegg out on the couch and snuggle up with my buddies to good movies or just chill and listen to music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all music: classically trained in violin and piano but grew up with rock and pop. My favorite music is Punk and Jazz. I'm a huge movie buff and am all about Kevin Smith and Disney (with added Gems like Battle Royal, Baraka, Apocalypto, etc. etc). I love to read classic novels (ie. first day of the charity $1/ea book drive at my work, I spent $76)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Canada. Have the most amazing, strong, loving family EVER. I look upto my parents more than anyone in the world but would do anything for the people that have earned my friendship. The people in my life take the cake. The best things I've done were snowboarding on mountains that brought tears of fear to my eyes, bungee jumping, and donating 3ft of my hair to Angel Hair for Kids while raising $5000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn and I like to teach even more. I'm better at teaching most skills than I am at performing them ;) Give me your time, I'll teach you everything I know!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do dishes great!! Hahaha! I also like to bake brownies (especially the special kind if u can help me find the materials), I talk a lot but can happily take the time to rest if you're not too social. I make lots of jokes :) I'm a great travel companion if you want to show me around :)
