ABOUT ME

Married the love of my life, have great brothers, sisters & extended family all over. Our ties run deep, as they should. They all tolerate my ParrotHead Jimmy Buffett style of a laid back life.

I've got this weird obsession with listening to classic rock & country and within the first 3 or 4 beats of the song, I will instantly blurt out who did the song, usually the title of the song, and always, sing the first line of the song. Cripes, if I could make money at doing that, I'd be rich. I think music says a lot about a person. I have eclectic interests in a very broad spectrum of things, including music, and depending on my mood. Use to do a lot of woodworking and crafts, artistry, gardening, singing, teaching religion, cooking, baking, etc. Love antiques, animals and pleasant days in the back yard at home, a little sanctuary.

PHILOSOPHY

Accept your limitations, and then go beyond them.
Always live honestly - you can get caught up in a lie, but you'll never get caught up in the truth. It makes for a peaceful life. Love your neighbors, and seriously, treat them how you want to be treated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always had an open door policy at my home for friends and family, and folks down on their luck. Grew up in a household where you just never knew who would be on the couch on Saturday morning. Mom and Dad helped everyone that needed helping. I always said that our house should have been a named mission and installed a revolving front door.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't had a lot of time for movies or books lately, but again, there's a broad spectrum of interests there. Some of it is for teaching classes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've seen is the Grand Canyon. I truly believe, you can never, ever capture its magestic beauty on film.

I could teach artisty in painting mediums, and quilting. Cooking as well. :o)
