ABOUT ME

I'm an organizer, writer, activist and performer. I'm hella queer and rather radical. I'm white. In gender I am not a man or a woman and prefer gender neutral pronouns. I'm vegan. I love to sit around crocheting and watching movies; but I also love street games and dance parties. I grew up in California and then moved to the Madison WI at 13. I lived very chaotically in Madison, trying to be as involved in everything as possible. I just finished spending a year in Los Angeles with City Year a national non-profit service organization that involves me tutoring 6th graders back on track to graduate. I was exhausted all the time but now I'm in Seattle, just working and soaking up the city

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy changes with the day. Today it has to do with recognizing my privilege and working to dismantle that and make the world less fucked up. I used to call myself a Taoist but won't anymore so as not to subjugate other cultures. Then my philosophy revolved around my dreadlocks (same story- I tore them out).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was trying to move to Seattle, I had like a week or so before I find housing in which I was hoping Couch Surfing can be useful. && it was! Upon being set up, however, I look forward to hosting and meeting new people. Also I can't wait to check out what events Couch Surfing Seattle's got going on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on the couches of my friends and family which isn't necessarily the same. I can say that I'm super responsible, clean and friendly and will STRIVE to be the illest and most considerate guest you've ever had! I love cooking and baking and will happily make meals for you!

I'm mega interested in history/herstory/queerstory especially as it pertains to global issues, astronomy, conspiracies, anarchism, indigenous resistance, collapse of industrial society, the spread of music culture and ideas, farces. Yoga is great! I love music and love to discover anything new. I'm really into talking with people, sharing what I know, learning what you know. And of course activist, service and community organizing work.
