I am a free spirit and live life to the fullest. My passions are music, singing, biking and traveling. I consider myself adventurous following the road less traveled meeting amazing people along the way learning about their cultures, philosophy, and sharing experiences. I also enjoy cooking, dancing, entertaining friends and family. I am patient, relaxed, opened to new ideas, and always looking for something new and different to experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a newbie with couch surfing but would like to help as much as possible. I recently moved to Minneapolis and now have a couch available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I recently joined CS, I have not had the experience of surfing. However, I hope to have my first couch surfing experience this summer in Montreal.

Interests

My interest are playing the piano, enjoy live music such as jazz, blues, 80’s rock and other genres. I believe in preserving the beautiful planet we all live on and practice making a minimal impact as I can to the environment. I also enjoy reading and learning about the latest green technology available for home applications. I am also into the raw food way of eating however; I do not practice it exclusively since I enjoy eating and experiencing foods and flavors from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently in college/working and have so much reading to do that I do not have time to enjoy it for personal pleasure. However, I plan to catch up with my leisure reading when I have a break from my classes. Every now and then, I will catch a movie the last one I enjoyed was Australia. I am a lover of music and have favorites but I enjoy all genres of music. My favorite way to experience music is hearing it live, or cranking out a tune on the piano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience I have witnessed in life is having children. Watching them being born take their first steps, first words, first day in school, piano recitals etc. Although their only 6 and 12 respectively I have learned so much from them especially learning to be patient and not to take life so seriously. I never thought of myself as a selfish person until I had children. Let me explain myself when you have your own children you think of them first their needs wants and desires and then you think of your own. My children have shaped the way I view life, the world and what I have to look forward to in the future.
