Overview
About Me
I'm a musician and graphic designer by trade and obviously new to couchsurfing (the website, not the concept, as I was in a band that toured a while back). I am also a Christian, and I know when saying that, there are a lot of varied opinions that come to mind, but I only say it because it undeniably plays a large role in my life. That being said, if you're my guest, religion will not be brought up unless you choose to.
I currently live with 3 other friends in Denver and before couchsurfing.com, we still had people staying with us almost weekly. I apologize in advance if I have to decline, as I keep myself very busy and, living in Denver, there is a constant stream of guests.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music usually tends to be more extreme.
Extremely pretty: Olafur Arnolds, Novo Amor, Damien Rice
Extremely heavy: Spitfire, Handshake Murders, Those Who Fear
Extremely good lyrics: My Epic, Shad K, Aesop Rock
I am a sucker for Christopher Nolan movies, but I admittedly will usually settle for whatever current Marvel superhero is destroying a city.
Any book that makes me think but C.S. Lewis, Victor Frankl, and Tim Keller have written some of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote a poem about Chick-Fil-A that provided me and 10 friends with free dinner.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach guitar and I love to jam with people.
I also just like to hear people's story.
“There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors. This does not mean that we are to be perpetually solemn. We must play. But our merriment must be of that kind (and it is, in fact, the merriest kind) which exists between people who have, from the outset, taken each other seriously - no flippancy, no superiority, no presumption.”
― C.S. Lewis
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can play you some music and give you some graphic design tips if you need it. I also may be able to make you laugh. No promises.
