ABOUT ME

I grew up in Sydney, Australia and moved to Cairns in 2013 to complete university. While at university I spent time living in Canada and Singapore on exchange. Both were great experiences! I also travelled to Europe between semesters in 2014, including bicycle touring approximately 2000km through Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia and Czech Republic.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couch surf in Passau, Germany while on my bicycle tour in 2014! It was a brief but meaningful experience and look forward to many more shared experiences with locals.

Interests

I am passionate about living simply and minimally including having little waste and few possessions. I don't quite feel aligned with my values and it is a work in progress on achieving fulfilment. I also love cycling especially bikepacking/ touring especially because of its simplicity, underground races like the Tour Divide but also world renowned main-stream events like the Tour de France.
I am also interested in Yoga and meditation. I try to practice both in some form every day.
I also find cultures/anthropology fascinating. I love listening and hearing from people of different cultures. Each with its own understanding of the world and wisdom to impart.

I am interested in sustainability. Sustainable housing, eating (veg), agriculture, society as a whole and how we can transition towards a way of living that promotes healthy people, our planet and our environment.
