About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Creating a comfortable space in Phnom Penh for friends and visitors
ABOUT ME
I moved to Phnom Penh in July 2010 after three long visits here conducting master's degree research while at Ohio University. Until November 2011, I'd worked for a San Francisco-based company (M Squared Consulting) remotely from Cambodia. (P.S. I am gay, so if this is a problem for you, please don't make it my problem! I am open to meeting to talk about the city/occasionally hosting.)
PHILOSOPHY
I'm an observer of people, you'll usually find me on the edge of crowds not in the middle. I like to watch what's going on around me and try to figure out people's stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been a member for a long time, but was living in a rural part of the U.S. completing my master's degree and didn't seem like many people wanted to visit. Phnom Penh is a different story.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mainly really positive experiences through CS and meeting some of my best friends in Cambodia.
Interests
Love reading political biographies, science fiction, etc. Studying cross cultural differences and tryng to understand.
