I am now a teacher, but I have also worked in travel for many years and have led tours to Alaska, Canadian Rockies, Central America, Historic America, and China. I love to travel and I love to meet people. I am now traveling a lot with my 11 year son and like to share the experience of meeting new people in new places.

Interests

I have traveled for most of my life. I love the experiences that travel brings. That is why I have worked in travel for many years leading tours and working on cruise ships. I love the water and love sailing any chance I have the opportunity. I also like mountain biking and road riding depending on what terrain is available. I biked the Katy trail last year and would love to do more rails to trails sections across the country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music. I grew up on classic rock, but love alternative, jazz, pop, and open to most everything. I love books on fantasy and have been re-reading all the Harry Potter books recently. I also enjoy historical fiction and movies based on real events.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked Europe and went to Germany one month after the Berlin Wall came down.
