ABOUT ME

I am an active ever working almost retirement age catalyst. Born and reared in Central California. Living in Stockholm, Sweden with my wife, Birgit who I met on my first trip to Europe in 1970. After a 30+ year pause in our relationship we met and married in 2004. My talents and interests include: Teacher, Job Developer, Project coordinator and now a Zero Waste consultant. I have two grown children and two grandsons all in California.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not couch-surfed, however, through airbnb, I stayed in a student apartment in Hildesheim, an hour south of Hannover during the Technology Fair. It was a good experience, but too far outside the city..

Interests

My days and nights are occupied with Green Party and Zero Waste meetings and activities. I enjoy bicycling, hiking and walking tours.My wife and I are VEGAN and regular customers of Hermans and Seyhmus Vegetarian Restaurants and Good Store, a VEGAN Market in Stockholm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Viewing the Kings Canyon and entrance to Yosemite Valley, California. Both within two hours of my hometown, Fresno.Apart from being present at the birth of my two now grown children, meeting and marrying my wife, Birgit after a 30-year+ separation with NO contact. More about that when we meet or communicate by email!
