About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live lightly and deeply

ABOUT ME

Left the computer field after a long career to start a personal development / coaching practice.

I love traveling and have been to 48 of the 50 US states (guess which are left).

PHILOSOPHY

After leaving the computer world (long career in I.T.) I've lived more of a come-what-may lifestyle. The balance I'm now trying to make is digging in to work as a coach and spending more time on the beach (living in Colorado hasn't offered me much time for that). I'd love to move to Hawaii part time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been on the road so much lately so I don't have a place to offer. I'm back on the road again and needing the kindness of a stranger so that I can stop and get some rest on these long road trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just started surfing last month and had a wonderful first experience. It was nicer and more fun that staying in a hostel.

Interests

Hanging out with friends. Walking on the beach, man there's nothing like it. It's so grounding, so primal. Understanding the two great mysteries, the cosmos in its totality and people. Love being 'present' with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

While I mostly like quiet I do enjoy most music and freeform dancing. I'm a sucker for feel good movies, the b&w classics and spiritual types. I don't read much but just picked up The Last Boy (about Mickey Mantle).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cruised through Nashville a couple of months ago and happened on to a full scale replica of the Greek Parthenon. What a surprise. It seemed so out of place but I had just been listening to an audio recording of The Odyssey on my trip so it was a real mind bender to see this thing. Loved it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to hear people's stories of things that matter to them. Mostly I offer listening and sharing the amazingly serendipitous experiences I've had.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bermuda, France, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
