ABOUT ME

I'm an American university student, but not for much longer (done in December!). I've taken a long time to finish school, but along the way I've been an unpaid volunteer in Texas for two years, I've lived and studied in London, I've worked at Microsoft, Google, and Apple, and I've climbed dozens of mountains.

A few peculiar things about me:
- I don't drink or smoke
- I don't drink coffee or tea (so don't be offended if you offer some and I say "no thanks")

I still manage to have fun, though—don't worry!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone is trying to find peace in life, and for me, that comes from good relationships with God and with other people. I try to look at everyone as a global sibling—someone in my (very) extended family—and I try to treat them how I would like to be treated. I think that being good and being happy is more important than being popular, or rich, or just about anything else.

Right now I'm healthy and single, and I my schedule lets me travel. I can't think of many better things to do with my time and money. Travel is a great way to understand the world, and by understanding the world, you can make a difference.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've seen a baby grow up. People are amazing.

I've also been to some amazing and beautiful outdoor places. I especially love winter mountaineering. Seeing the glow of a sunrise above freshly fallen snow on a cold, high, rugged mountain ridge is breathtaking every time.
