Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is nice to discover new places by the perspective of the people that already lives there.

In all my trips, the best places that I went, was the places that locals told me to see and probably, if they haven't told that, I would never discover by myself.

I want to do the same for people that are coming to my city and keep living this experience.

Interests

I love arts. All kind of arts! For me, go for a trip is a way to find more art through photography, architecture, sketches, paintings in the walls, music...

So I can say that this is my main interest: see the arts of everywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is hard for me to say about my favorite music. For me, music is always associated to the feelings, and the feelings are always changing.

But I love jazz, blues, rock, some kind of samba...and more rock. Now, while writing this, I'm in love with Aretha Franklin's voice and singing 'I say a little prayer'...but tomorrow morning, I'm pretty sure I'll be listening Mumford on the morning and maybe singing Beatles at the afternoon.

About books, I kinda love Jules Verne, George Orwell's and even C.S Lewis and his fantastic world. The true is that almost every week I have a different book on my pocket, and this is not joke. So, if you have any fantastic book with new worlds and amazing ideas wrote on it, I'll love your suggestion to read it.

Movies... sorry, I can't choose one. Sometimes I like the movies because of the colors, sometimes because of the history on it, sometimes because of the landscape, sometimes because of the actors... I just love movies.
I confess that I have a particular taste in Woody Allen's movies. Just like the stories....makes me smile at the end in most of times.

I'm a really good and passionate sketcher, photographer and I know a lot about history of cities, places and architecture on it. For me, it will be a pleasure to share this with you.
