If you don't know it yet: Couchsurfing has been turned into a for-profit corporation. Our kindness, hospitality and culture have been sold. Not hosting any more through this site. Replying (and accepting friend requests only from people who make itr clear in their profile that they are angry with CS being sold. We are open to meet people and host travelers on BeWelcome. Which is not-for profit organisation that is doing things in a much more correct way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

have accommodated couchsurfers, have been hosted on other peoples couches... we lived in some amazing places, which we like to share with people who enjoy beauty... can offer a couch most times, and could guide people if they wish to be guided through special places in our town and surroundings...We really want to meet folks who can share their culture, humour and knowledge with us. We have rejected CS as it is now- FOR PROFIT CORPORATION...

Music: Blues, psychedelic rock - Ultimate Spinach is just fantastic, Pink Floyd especially In its Syd Barett period, Balkan music, some reggae.I like Salmonella Dub, Fat Freddy's Drop and all the good Kiwi music...I can go on..., music is a beautiful part of life...Writers and poets that I really really love:Gary Snyder, Nanao Sakaki, Stevan Raickovic,Tolstoy, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, George Orwell.Bulgakov's Master and Margarita is amazing, just perfect! Another perfect novel in my opinion is My Name is Red by Orhan PamukMovies: Baraka (but Mara doesn't like this one...), Travelling Birds, all works by Stanley Kubrick

Teach, Learn, Share

boss-free living, ways of getting rid of our addiction to non sustainable use of our precious resources, having fun in ways that do not harm non human species, interested in new social structures (building a new society in the shell of the old - a nice idea I heard from the IWW), families, ways of communicating differences and settling disputes, environmental politics, film, non competitive sports... there are very few things I am not interested in learning or sharing knowledge I have...I am spending a lot of time in the wilderness and lerning about birds and other wild creatures... I welcome anyone who can teach me more about wildlife or who wants to learn something from me.Can teach you a bit about wild mushrooms. Been studying and woking with mushrooms and other fungi for some years.Would like to learn the stars (astronomy, NOT astrology). I really enjoy cooking, and if you are ready to share any recipes with me, please do!Worm bin composting-can teach you about this. It is a fantastic way to make city living just a bit more Earth friendly. Will introduce you to my worms if you are not scared of little invertebrates.
