I'm a brazilian biologist that loves travelling and exploring historical places, museums and nature.
So far, I have travelled a lot in Brazil (it's a huge country!), but now I'd like to get to know other countries. I'm an easy going person, I don't smoke and I don't use drugs. I drink alcohol socially, but not too much. I love animals and I have a pug named Bono.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people from different places and cultures. I believe that's the BEST way to really get to know a country. I'm not a tourist that runs around for 5 minutes taking lots of pictures in famous monuments and then run to the next one. I'm a traveller, I like to take my time, enjoy the place and talk to locals, so I can get a glimpse of real life in that city. I think that's the main reason why we should travel.
In my recent trips I have made friends with people from USA, Canada, Peru, Argentina, Austria and Denmark and we taught each other a lot about our countries. It was great and I was hoping to do it again soon.

Movies: Forrest Gump, Schindler's List, P.S. I Love You, What dreams may come, 12 years a slave, La vita è bella, The Pianist, Angels and Demons, Lord of the rings, The Goonies, Mamma Mia, etc. I'm a big fan of Robert de Niro, Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.

Books: I love reading biographies, fiction books (Dan Brown, George R.R. Martin) and brazilIan authors, such as Paulo Coelho, Leandro Karnal and Marcelo Rubens Paiva.

I overcame some health problems, got a second chance to live and now I want to visit as many places as possible around the world.
