About Me

I am 23 years old. I love to meet new people, live and share experiences. I am a volunteer worker, psychology student in my city. I am a helpful girl, outgoing, like to excite people and make them live and exchange amazing things. I like extreme sports, traveling, reading, going out and I'm addicted to nature. I'm studying English and I make an exchange to Colombia to learn Spanish language and do voluntary social work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet all possible locations when I'm in a city or country, especially places that involve a lot of nature. I'm not a tourist, I am a traveler, and enjoy traveling in the most economical way, but no less intense, you can. Always checking cost-benefit and believe it has no better way to know a place than being with a local resident, thus establishing lasting friendships as well.

Interests

I'm interested in knowing the most beautiful corners of the world, whether they are known or not. I'm also interested to make friends and stories where I go. Living situations like local resident environments where I go and always be able to leave a little of me in places to go and people to meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reggae, rock, indie, pop, R & B, hip-hop, rap. But I'm always open to meet new types of music rhythms, such as the traditional places that are know and also make people aware of the music and culture of the place where I come from, that is Brazil. I'm cinephile, so much like movies and cinema, always prefer horror movies, suspense, research and drama usually do not watch many novels, I prefer to read these, and comedy movies are good to have fun. Love much reading, I have a mini library in my house. I love to read classic books and also those who are very famous, like sagas and trilogies, as Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, Grimm Brothers, among others. I love science fiction books, research and suspense, romantic classic, entrepreneurial psychology books and also please me, as well as real and good drama books stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It depends on what is amazing for you, for me all my trips were awesome, but highlighting some fun and unique events: once went rafting in the state of Mato Grosso, central Brazil, and in the middle of the path, my boat pulled in the river of trees and one of the branches had a house of bees, they made a cloud over the boat and my desperate guide, asked to jump off the river all to not be bitten, all jumped, but in front had a fall 3 level in the river, and the other control boat was more ahead of us. Then the control boat guide had to be swimming against the current and the guide of my boat had to leave swimming in search of people who jumped into the boat in time to place all within the control of boat and down the fall, as our boat was taken by the current before. It was a unique experience, a little scary, but after were just laughing and some people with bee stings. Another unique experience is what I'm doing now, living for a month and a half in Medellín volunteering and traveling throughout Colombia weekend, it was great fun I lost in Medellin!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese, teach about the culture of my amazing country, Brazil, teach cooking things I can do, anything that involves my country's culture. I like to learn new things, want to learn more English, more Spanish and other languages i can, learn things about other places, about the nature and how to deal with people. And I want to share all that I live with everyone you meet sincere and kind way. My motto is: true human relationships!

What I Can Share with Hosts

What can I share with my hosts beyond my lifestyle is my country's culture: food, dances, languages, religions, thoughts, authors, music, among others. Also share, things that lived in the places I went through. I am very willing to learn, know, understand, walking, traveling, and making friends. Receive kindness back is a consequence.
