About Me

BRUNA
Hi! I'm brazilian, I'm here in Europe for an interdisciplinary PHD at Toulouse in philosophy, psychoanalysis, social science for 3 years.

As I'm planning doing some trips, I'll be glad to be couch-surfed and know different peoples and cultures. Sharing people's space is really nice to know the cities by it's inside, and it makes possible in-expectable sharings.

I worked for 3 years as a philosophy teacher at ALEF (http://www.alef.org.br/), a Jude school working also at the periphery of São Paulo, where we discussed history of philosophy in a politicized way, inquiring its system of representations by gender perspective, and I´m interested in the variety of ways to do politics, specially at arts and education fields. That's way I 'm part of an political collective witch's named GENERX (http://generxcoletivo.wix.com/generx), who's offering a lot of interdisciplinary activities (workshops on arts, philosophy, sociology, encounters on music) at Centro Cultural São Paulo about gender and sexuality.

What else? Easygoing, a little shy, funny.

Sometimes, I'll be couchsurfing with my partner, MARIANA (38, female).

She's also Brazilian and we live together in Toulouse . She's an artist, working mainly in performance, urban intervention and theater direction. Currently , she's doing her best to learn french !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was traveling to Barcelona at this year, I was hosted by amazing people: a friend of a friend an her kind roommates, she was feminist, member of an anarchist collective, who introduced me at the political scene at the city. Also, I've visited Natal, at North of Brazil with couch-surfing help! The guy who hosted me was very kind people, with lot of cool and essential tips for the trip!

Interests

Philosophy, psychoanalysis, cinema, drink with friends. Free-style militancy in LGBT movements. Also, I love exercise myself (horse hiding, running, tai chi), biking, eating with friends, reading, studyng, dancing, going to the cinema and to know different ways of living and new places.
