About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to be all I can be and do all I can do. I want to be successful in whatever I choose to put effort into and most of all I want to experience life without regrets.

ABOUT ME

I try to be simple, accept things for what they are and discover the beauty in what I often see but don't notice. I work hard for what I want, and I usually want a lot of things.
I'm easy-going, at times quite talkative, sometimes barely, open-minded, responsible, very light-headed and I may seem a bit crazy when I feel passion for something. I enjoy talking about virtually any subject that someone else loves. Sometimes I feel my curiosity has no limits and that is what drives me to experience what the world has to show. I don't feel like I have a home anymore and I feel at home pretty much anywhere.

PHILOSOPHY

Life begins each second.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking for the chance (time and space) to host foreign youngsters like myself to know more about other cultures, things others have gone through and to learn about people in general.
I also want to travel as much as possible over all my life whenever I find some spare change to do so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in my own country (Portugal), in a couple places in the Netherlands, in Bulgaria, Lithuania, and in Turkey.
I hosted people back in Portugal but I want the chance to do it in other countries to as I intend to live in as many places as possible.

Interests

Music is my true passion for reasons I can't accurately put into words. I enjoy cinema, art in general, writing, travelling, sight-seeing, video games, observing people and their weird habits, I like to read about random subjects, I like psychology, philosophy, chess, sports, jogging, walking and getting lost in some weird place somewhere. I'm always in love with the Ocean, but seem to constantly move away from it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy music of many, many styles and I'm happy to listen to anything unlike what I've listened to before.

I've read very different books, but I'll mention 'The Uses of Enchantment' by Bruno Bettelheim. It's a psychology take on fairy tales and it's pretty damn interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel this is much better shared over a conversation :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not religious, but I enjoy a good conversation about the meaning of life and the marvelous taste of grilled cheese. I feel I deeply enjoy listening to people who are passionate about something. I'll probably stay quiet about most things I know little about, but likewise I probably have a lot to share too.
