About Me

I'm really curious about different cultures and I love to interact with people from other countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to get in touch with locals during my next trips. I'm going to Japan this October with two friends and we would like to know more about Japanese culture. One of the best ways to do that is making Japanese friends or becoming friends with Kyoto's expats! :)

Interests

I'm really interested in History, Arts, Food, Literature and Movies. I always want to get immerse in a country's culture when I travel abroad. Currently, I'm reading "Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage" by Harki Murakami in order to get in touch with Japanese Literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one sabbatical month in a small beach village in the Northeast of Brazil, During this period I became friends with locals (I'm still in touch with many of them), played soccer at the beach, went fishing many kilometers off the coast with a professional fisherman in a small sailboat, read for the first time a book in French, ran 2km everyday at the beach
