ABOUT ME

I'm 26, i live in Montpellier, France, i'm trying to be a professional drummer.
I'm working a lot on african, cuban and brazilian rhythms as a percussionist and a drummer. I'm a kind of curious guy and i love to travel for music, to discover new cultures and new people by this way!

I saw there are a lot of musicians in CS Istanbul so I hope to have nice musical exchanges, jam sessions, etc.. Join me for anything, it would be such a pleasure for me!

I also love nature and mountains and try to never forget this part too! ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is choices. Everyone is building himself and his context of life making choices, at each moment, from start to death!
I make everyday the choice of music, and that's a very hard one, but i'll never stop working until i could be a musician playing his music around the world! ;-)

I'm also a kind of rationalist person, but always open to other points of view, religious, mystic, etc.. even if the "you don't believe you can't see" seems sort of recurent conclusion..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new on the website, but i'm thinking to find some CS's for the summer, if anyone need a room in Montpellier!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very few, some hosts experience with a colocation 2 years ago.. but i love the idea, some great aspect of the globalisation that's sure!

Movies : 37.2 le matin, most of Ken loach, Jacques Audiard, etc..

Music : My ultimate reference is Ole by John Coltrane and his famous quartet with some extra players, 18 mn of amazing and intense musical trip with 2 double bass, flute, sax, piano, drums.
I listen to many kinds of music, depends of my mood, most of jazz, rock, reggae, african, cuban music, funk, blues, etc..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived 1 year in Bamako with malians friends, playing percussions all days, sleeping on the floor, without water, etc.. Amazing! ;-)
