O mnie
CURRENT MISSION
Broadening the mind by seeing the world!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 31 year old bike mechanic from Antwerp Belgium, currently living in Trondheim, Norway. I love to travel around, write stories about my explorations and take pictures. I'm an avid cyclist, hiker and aspiring mountaineer so sleeping on a couch is nothing but comfort & luxury to me :-)
PHILOSOPHY
Jamais dans la tendance mais toujours dans la bonne direction!

Muzyka, filmy i książki
I read a lot of climbing books, non fiction stuff about all kinds of things, Dutch and English literature, the occasional French book, comic books (mostly Belgian & French style, Gaston Lagaffe is my personal hero.)
Music: lots of rap; Dutch, French, American (mostly 90's stuff and indie, think Aesop Rock, El-P, etc), Belgian (yep it exists), Swedish, ... Other than that: Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, all kinds of rock and other music, Black Metal from when I was still sporting long hair and ugly band shirts (Satyricon, Mayhem, Emperor, Immortal), and a lot more! Gotta move on to >>>
Movies: all kinds of classics, modern stuff, hard to pinpoint anything really. Two movies that have left a very deep impression are "La meglio gioventu" and "Dancer in the dark".
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)
Hiking through the French Alps on numerous occasions.
Mountaineering near Chamonix, France. Sleeping for two hours in a smelly and noisy hut, getting up at 4 am, not having a decent breakfast, crashing through the moraine cause you've lost your headtorch, being turned into an icelolly at the col, scrambling up to the summit through mist and fog...thinking "why the **** am I doing this?" only to see the clouds opening up, the sun shining, the Mont Blanc in the distance, a pristine glacier on your left, behind that, Swiss valleys covered in clouds...
