About Me

ABOUT ME

I just came to learn something new about myself: I don't enjoy writing about myself. but I'll try to have fun with it and keep it true. So I'm a guy interested in different cultures and peoples. I am on my last semester of my bachelor in environmental studies and by the nature of my studies I guess you could assume I am interested in many many different things. I am friendly, chilled out, honest, sarcastic sometimes, silly some other times, outspoken but also reserved, I guess it depends on how confortable and confident I feel at the time and place. I enjoy a good conversation, especially ones that put you to think about things, deeper things. But I quite enjoy "normal" conversations too, so don't feel like you got to talk about reicarnation or what globalisation is really about with me, but if you want to, I'll be keen. I can be very spontaneous sometimes, or I am just bad at planning, maybe a bit of both. I believe in honesty and trust between people, even tho the world sometimes seem to leave us a bit hopeless about these things.. ah, and I am not the most punctual guy!!! but i'll greet you with a smile if you are late too. Im also vegetarian, non smoker, beer drinker but wanna learn more about drinking wine!

Interests

Cultures, peoples, religions, philosophies, different ways of looking at the world, social justice, environmental justice, animal welfare, music, films, books, eating, sleeping, partying, playing football, visual art (street art)... Im very keen to learn about gardening, planting some food on the backyard, keeping some chooks and learning new things to cook.(vegetarian dishes)
I play some guitar and I am amazing at air drums, never miss a beat, but I never play it in front of people, I play some bongoes and djembe in front of people but sometimes I miss some beats. So yeah I enjoy jamming.
As I said I enjoy cooking so if you want I can try to cook something nice for you

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been really fortunate to be able to travel,
and I think one of the most amazing things I've seen was Uluru (Ayres-rock) in the Australian desert. amazing place with an incredible energy. ancient and hopeful energy.
Another moment that left me awestruck was when I saw Rage Against the Machine live in 2008! you don't see your favourite band everyday, especially when it was broken for 7 years and you thought you'd never have the chance of seeing them. so that was pretty cool.
a third moment that left me feeling like I am lucky and fortunate to be alive was when I went to see his Holiness the Dalai Lama speak on park, he left everybody on the place smiling and with a genuine feeling of brother and sisterhood towards each other.
