I can offer a meal, a hot drink and a place to sleep ( on the floor or on an airbed) and a be a guide in my city in English or Spanish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic! I have hosted several people and wish could do it more often- it would be great to have such lovely people around all the time. I have also surfed and organized a CS meeting in my city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and it affects me a lot. I listen to a very wide range of music- rock, soul, classical ,jazz, blues, I also like discovering world music.
I used to sing traditional Balkan songs.
Now I mainly sing while riding my bike.

I like books very much- sometimes I even stroke their backs tenderly when I'm in a bookshop:).
Books have been always very important to me and have influenced my life and choices in many ways. Recently I appreciate mainly good reportages, essays and travel writing.
Writers whose books are important to me:
Doris Lessing, Alice Munro, Julio Cortazar, G.G Marquez, M.Kundera, B. Hrabal, J.Fowles, M. Bulgakov, T. Jansson.

There are also some excellent Polish writers authors like Ryszard Kapuściński, Wojciech Tochman, Jacek Hugo-Bader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled on a train that carries iron ore in Sahara desert, in Mauretania. I had iron and sand in my eyes and nose for a whole week afterwards but the memory of the night stop in the middle of Sahara and passengers singing their prayers below the stairy sky will stay with me forever.
