About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get a decent job in the foreign policy sector
ABOUT ME
My main passions in life are history and international affairs, which I find to be incredibly deep and interesting subjects brimming with fascinating nooks and crevices to explore. As a history major, I'm not exactly a hot commodity on the job market, and I'm currently studying international affairs at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. to burnish my credentials. Someday I hope to be a decent writer of both fiction and non-fiction (mainly history). I'm a very easy-going and good-natured guy, though not very sociable. My interest in history goes hand in hand with a zest for travel and exploring parts of the world that are far away from wherever I am.
PHILOSOPHY
None really... I love to learn and broaden my horizons, so I doubt I'll feel fulfilled in life until I experience the most that the world has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to see the world, learn new things, and meet new people. You can get a whole new perspective on a culture and place by staying with people there. It makes travel way more educational than the traditional hotel-and-guided-tours model.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm still inordinately proud of passing the Higher-Level IB Japanese test in high school after taking a Standard-Level class. If you're familiar with the IB Program you'll get how big of a deal this was; otherwise, just take my word for it...
Teach, Learn, Share
Uhhhhh... let's see...
> Moderate points of view in arguments (taking a little from both sides) are usually the best answers. For example, people aren't really "naturally good" or "naturally evil," it depends on the person.
> Saying "yes" when you don't understand is not always the best answer.
> War and poverty will not end, but we can still do our utmost to limit them.
> God, I hate nationalism.
