About Me

Most people say I have a positive energy about me. I'm a free spirit who enjoys a good conversation, great food and learning. Introvert by nature but energized by authentic interactions and variety. I love to meet different people and get to know others and their culture. I'm very inquisitive and enjoy hearing different points of view on various subjects. Really starting to get into travel as of late. Been all over Asia, a little bit in Central America and of course North America. I value experiences more than material possessions. I'm not a partier but not a sack of potatoes neither!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never been much of a "tourist" in the traditional sense. I like to experience a place from the point of view of a local. I want to know what their culture means to them and what they enjoy about their city and country. I believe it's the people that make up a city and not just the buildings and landscape.

Interests

I love art, music, good conversation, big into food, learning languages (granted I'm not good at any), learning about other people and cultures, hiking, sports, and Krav Maga.

Movies: I'm a total movie buff. Way too many to list. Three movies that I rarely get tired of would be Snatch, Miami Vice, and Shawshank Redemption.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Don't really believe I've done anything amazing. Just been very fortunate and blessed. I was a decathlete in college for a National Champion track team where I got to train and compete with gold medalists.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I can share is my time. The most valuable thing we have. I can definitely help people with there English if they want to practice. I'm a wealth of knowledge in business, economics and finance. Really into philosophy so I love a good intellectual conversation with someone. I definitely like to share as much as I receive from others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My own experiences and energy. Definitely don't mind helping around the house if need be.
