Overview
About Me
I'm a very laid back guy that is currently traveling the world! I decided to leave my life behind in America for a year to get out and see what this fine planet has to offer. So far this has been one of the best decisions I've ever made!
I grew up in a small beach town in southern New Jersey, went to college and then lived in New York City for 9 years, and have been residing in San Diego for the past 4 years. California is great and if I end up moving back there, I'll definitely host you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling the world and want to experience everything through a local's point of view! I hosted in San Diego with a friend for a few months before I left on my world adventure and it was such a great experience! It's not just a free place to sleep, it's about the relationships and friendships you build along the way.
Interests
Music, music, music! Playing it, recording it, listening to it, seeing it live - you name it! Also, surfing, cooking, film, and technology. I'm a Mac geek!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music (currently listening to): Jack White, Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, The Police, The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr.
Movies: The Big Lebowski, Sci-Fi (Pacific Rim, Matrix, etc.), Lord of the Rings/Hobbit triolgies, Star Wars trilogies, comedy (Wedding Crashers, Animal House, Pineapple Express, etc.)
Books: Currently reading "Bruce", which is Bruce Springsteen's biography. I love reading biographies about musicians. I just got a Kindle too...watch out 21st century!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydive...4 times and counting! (last jump was in Namibia)
Teach, Learn, Share
I've found that being as open-minded as possible can lead you to opportunities you wouldn't normally come across. People can look very different, speak different languages, etc...but at the core of it, we are all connected by something. That connection for me has always been music! I'm excited to learn how music has changed people's lives across this great Earth, and hopefully exchange my knowledge of music along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My positive attitude, laughs, and music! I'm also willing to help out around your house if you need some cleaning done, etc.
