About Me

I'm 26 years old and I have been in the Army since I graduated high school. I grew up in California and currently live in Georgia. I am married to my lovely wife Jessica. She is from Canada, but I forgive her.

She has been Couchsurfing for a few years and finally got me into it. She did a trip across Europe and loved it. We have had a blast opening up our home to myriads of people from all over the world. It was new experience for me, but it turned out to be a cool way to meet new people.

I personal would describe myself as a thrill seeking adrenaline junky. I spend my time skydiving and riding motorcycles. I want to get into scuba diving sometime soon.

I have a pretty deep love of all things nerdy. Anime, fantasy novels, video games, etc. You name it and I probably have some sort of interest in the fandom.

Being out doors is something I really enjoy doing. I have spent plenty of time on parts of the Appalachian Trail. Since I grew up out in California I have been up into Yosemite and the mountains all around the central valley. I've always enjoyed being by myself in the wilderness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't done a lot of traveling outside of the military and I am planning on starting more leisure trips.

I have had such a good experience already hosting couch surfers, that surfing myself just seems like a natural next step.

My wife has accumulated some great stories and been on some great adventures all thanks to couch surfing as well, so here I am to go on some great adventures and gather some cool stories of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite books are The Dark Tower by Stephen King, Lord of the Rings, Enders Game, 100 Years of Solitude, The Hunger Games, 10 Billion Days 100 Billion Nights, The Once and Future King, Gates of Fire, The Thief of Always, The Great Gatsby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got my solo sky diving license. My first sky dive alone was an incredible experience. I have always wanted to fly ever since I was a kid. It may only be falling with style, but it sure felt like flying to me.
