ABOUT ME

Grew up in South Korea and lived in Canada for 10 years of my life (Calgary, Ottawa, Vancouver). I've got one goal in life - to live and experience the world and its different cultures. I've just finished covering most of Europe after doing my Masters in Switzerland for 2 years and studying medicine in Poland for 4 years. I've now been repatriated into my own home country and want to keep a global perspective while I train further in medicine.

I'm hoping to get involved with the CS event community and help people experience my current home city in the most memorable way.

Interests

I love to cook, and food is a big interest in my life. It's great to have something to look forward to, and eating good food is something I can do 3x a day. Current affairs and history is something that really interests me since it's made the world what it is today and it'll influence what its future will be like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 10, a lightning bolt struck a stop sign a few meters away from where I was standing. The sad part is that I had my eyes closed and ears shut when I was running through the rain, but my parents nearly had a heart attack when the stop sign was obliterated.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
An common theme on couchsurfing - languages! I'm always happy to teach and learn new languages. I'm a sponge when it comes to history and explanations for why the world is the way it is, so if you're ever curious about sthg, bring it up and we may be able to figure it out together!

Learn: Teach me anything. My mind is ready. Unless it's MATLAB. you might want to give me a preamble for that topic.
