I’m divorced with 3 adult kids (that all live with me full time) and I’ve worked in IT for 20+ years. I have a two-year-old German Shepard mix that has way too much energy and a cat (My son has an eleven-year-old Pekingese and my daughter has a cat also). I spend as much time outside as I can, usually hiking. I also love technology and exploring how it can make our lives easier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, and I love to travel. When I travel to somewhere new I want to experience the local culture and people, not the touristy places. Couchsurfing gives immediate access to someone who lives in the area and hopefully knows all the great local places to go where I can learn as much as possible in the brief time I get to spend in each location.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most all music. For movies and books I prefer Science Fiction and Fantasy. Some of my favorite movies are Star Wars, The Matrix, Fight Club, and V for Vendetta. My favorite books are the Witcher books by Andrzej Sapkowski and the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Successfully guided my kids to adulthood. It may not seem like an amazing feat, but there were many times I didn't think I'd make it :)
