ABOUT ME

I am just about to graduate with my bachelors in Business Administration with a focus on marketing. About 8 months ago I learned about microfinance and have become extremely passionate about learning more. I have been to a number of third world countries and really want to be able to make a small change in the world that I have been living in.

PHILOSOPHY

Looking to learn more about the different people of this world. The more friends I make the more my philosophy changes. I try to love everyone and understand where they are coming from.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just starting in the couch surfing experience. I learned about it from someone that lived in Hawaii and was couch surfing with some good friends of mine. He was really excited about the experiences he had so I would really like to get involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed in a host families house in Chile for a week and a half and it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life.

Interessen

I have really become interested in microfinance and have been pursuing that as a career. Chess is an amazing game that is best played with coffee. Also Ultimate Frisbee is a really enjoyable way to spend a sunny afternoon in the Pacific Northwest. COFFEE!!!!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I really like a lot of different types of music. Adele is one of my new favorites. Karaoke is soo much fun and you can hear me belting out tunes from Niel Diamond, Billy Idol, Billy Joel, and many others.

Been reading a lot about leadership and microfinance to educate myself enough to make a difference in those areas.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

After helping set up a sewing business in Recreo, Ecuador the people of the church that we were staying with did a big dance performance for us. It was one of the most beautiful acts of love I have seen in a long time.

Also hiking to the top of Mt. Si. gives an amazing view of a huge portion of the Northwest on a clear day.
