music- the most random mix of anything that sounds good to me... vampire weekend, kings of leon, mates of state, bloc party, bright eyes, hot chip, lucky dube, radiohead, etc.
books- ishmael, theres no me without you, a language older than words, the complete works of anne sexton, the country under my skin, the green mile, oryx and crake, the philosophy of andy warhol, less than zero, white oleander, shes come undone, and so on
