About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get to know the whole world, meeting each new place like a new friend.
ABOUT ME
First and foremost, I'm a thinker. I see the world through a very unique set of eyes, a perspective that comes out through the various ways I express myself, from writing to performing (various comedy routines) and even my new venture--glass mosaic making. I love people watching--I think I missed my calling as an anthropologist--and seem to notice the little things that most people tend to overlook.
I am fun, spirited, ambitious, yet easy-going and I live for the adventure of everyday life. I learn something from everything I do simply by observing. That is what makes life worth living. Meeting like-minded people gives me the chance to share stories and exchange experiences, inspiring future trips and meetings.
I love the outdoors. I'm a traveler, never a tourist. My only true home is the world, and I feel most at home when I'm waxing philosophical with a group of friends at a dinner table sharing a meal that either my husband or myself had cooked.
I love colorful foods--I eat the rainbow! I love red wine (Shiraz and Malbec) karkade, beets, spinach, blueberries, tomatoes, etc.
PHILOSOPHY
We are all here on this earth for a reason. Take the time to get to know, and love, yourself. Observe the world around you. Feel your connection to everything and you'll see your place. Take your time to feel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We've hosted a few CSers in NYC, been to a ton of CS parties like Chaos Cooking, and currently traveling through Eastern Europe, one incredible surfer at a time. Once we settle in London, we plan on opening our couch to as many surfers as pass through the town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am seriously amazed at what CouchSurfing can do--linking together people with completely different backgrounds, ethnicities, locations, likes, dislikes, favorite colors--you get the point--but that all share one very important thing in common: a passion for loving life. I've met some of my best friends on CouchSurfing, and I can't wait to visit/host them again soon!

Teach, Learn, Share
Yoga! I can't start the day without my sun salutation, and the only thing I love more than yoga is doing it with someone else. There's no better way to bond than while getting a good stretch, right? I also love to read, and some of the best books I've read have been suggestions from others. If you're a fellow reader, let's create a book club while I'm in town? ;-)
