ABOUT ME

Man, I am always terrible at these descriptions of myself, and I recently found out why. I try to put everyone and everything else around me first. I find happiness when other people are happy, and they deserve to be happy before me.

Otherwise I'm just an unremarkable guy who enjoys too many hobbies for his own good. Blue is my favorite color, and autumn is my favorite season for the weather and scenery. I try to always have some kind of beat or melody stuck in my head, and I'm a Green Bay Packers fan to the end.

There's a bunch more to say, but it's closing in on three in the morning right now. I have little reason not to be honest about things (except for a poorly timed joke) so feel free to ask about other stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I heard about couch surfing was when I was going to visit a friend in Europe. I was open to finding a quick hotel but he already had made plans to couch surf with a couple of people because it would be cheaper. Basically, it was a lot more fun staying with them and seeing the city that way then on our own.

Interests

A lot of my hobbies are pretty easygoing things. Stuff like going to the movies, bowling, playing some games, and having a drink. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do as long as you have good people with you.

Usually whenever I'm in a new place though, I'll look for things I couldn't normally do. Hiking, seeing museums, local sights and events. I'll try to make the most of what I have.

Also, I've been getting back into reading books that I missed reading years ago. Just finished 1984 and started Catch-22.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I just started reading Catch-22. I'm trying to back into reading recently, and books sure help on a lazy Sunday/

I really enjoy watching movies, especially comedies, drama, and action ones. If there's a good movie on, I'll try to watch it.

Lately, I've been listening to some Zero 7, Squarepusher, and Asgeir. I also dabble in producing my own electronic music. Music is definitely a solid chunk of my life.
